First Day of School Reminders

We are almost to the start of the 2026-2027 school year!

Thank you to all the students and families who came to Ready, Set, Go Conferences, attended the Back-to-School BBQ, or joined us for Meet the Middle School! It was great seeing your smiling faces back in the building, and now we're counting down the hours to the first day of school!

Here are a few important reminders:

Doors open at 7:25 am. Students should arrive after this time. They can enter Door 3 (by the parking lot and new main office), Door 2 (in the bus loop), or Door 7 (rear of the building by basketball hoops).
Please remember that if you're dropping your student off from your car, this needs to happen INSIDE the middle school parking lot, following the traffic flow. Students should absolutely NOT be dropped off on Graydon Ave.
Parents should say goodbye before students enter the building. We love our parents, but parents shouldn't come in with students on the first day.
After dropping everything off in their lockers, students will report to WIN first on the first day of school.
The school day runs from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm. Just a reminder that we run 10 minutes later than in the past.

The two links above are slideshows that will be shared with students during their WIN classes in the first week of school. If you're interested in seeing what information they will receive about Chromebooks, planners, Skyward, grades, ElasticPass, and school safety, please take a look at the slides.

I want to note the school safety video that will be played for students (Wednesday for 7th & 8th grades, Thursday for 6th grade). This video reviews our Standard Response Protocol, so all students know what to do in the event of an emergency situation. You can view the video here.

Our Main Office Has Moved

As part of the construction updates at the middle school, the main office has moved from the middle of the building to the northwest corner. Please view the images below for information about how to access the building during the school day.

Please be aware that some of these areas are still in the process of final touches and updates.

Door 3 is Now the Main Entrance

When accessing the building, please park in the parking lot and enter through Door 3.

Cars should NOT pull into or park in the bus loop on Graydon.

Initial vestibule with entrance to office.

When entering through Door 3, you will enter the office first, using the door on the left wall.

Through that door, you'll enter the secure vestibule where you will either have your ID checked and be allowed entry into the school, or you will wait for your student before exiting the building.
