CNA Course Complete

Congratulations to the ETHS Fall 2025 Cohort of Nursing Assistant students! This great group of students took advantage of the CNA course offered at ETHS in our on-site Wisconsin Department of Health-approved CNA Lab. If you're interested in being involved in the spring Nursing Assistant program at ETHS, please see Ms. Boston. These students had the opportunity to earn their Technical Diploma at ETHS during their school day. Congratulations on your outstanding accomplishment!

Community Partnerships Support Students and Businesses

Scot Industries

Mrs. Kuehn, Principal, and Mrs. Pluess, CTE Coordinator, toured Scot Industries in East Troy last week with the goal of developing YA positions to support manufacturing and local businesses. Thank you to Travis Kuehl for being a fabulous host and teaching us about your industry. If you are a local business that is looking to partner, please reach out to Mrs. Jinnesa Pluess at plujin@easttroy.k12.wi.us or to Mrs. Kuehn at kuesta@easttroy.k12.wi.us.

ETHS Athletics

ETHS Hosts Division 2 Coach to talk College Athletics

ETHS hosted a Zoom conference with a Division II College Coach to discuss what college coaches are looking for in HS athletes, the recruiting process, and being a scholarship college-athlete. A few key takeaways from the presentation included:
  1. Be a good human - college coaches don't want students who will cause problems. Be sure your behavior on and off the court represents what college coaches are looking for.
  2. Grades matter - do well in school.
  3. PLAYERS, not PARENTS, should reach out to coaches via email if they're interested in the school. Do your homework about the school, be realistic and honest, and be sure to include your Grade Yr (not your current grade), your position, and HS stats - don't exaggerate, be honest. Be sure to include your contact information (phone number and personal email address).
  4. Camps - If you are looking to be recruited, camps can bring exposure to you.

Thank you to the student-athletes who attended the 7 AM Zoom conference. The information presented was valuable, and now you have to put it into action - if college athletics is of interest to you.

Go Trojans!
